Two women have been accused of stealing $100 worth of merchandise from a market in Long Island, police say.

Police are on the lookout for two women suspected of stealing approximately $100 worth of merchandise from Best Yet Market in Shirley (800 Montauk Highway) on Thursday, July 11 around 3 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are on the lookout for two women, pictured above, who are suspected of stealing approximately $100 worth of merchandise from Best Yet Market in Shirley (800 Montauk Highway) on Thursday, July 11 around 3 p.m.

Police say the women fled the parking lot in a 2015 red Nissan Altima with New York license plates reading HPL 9908.

One of the suspects was described as black and heavy-set with a blue strand of braided hair, police say.

The other suspect was described as Hispanic or black with a thin build, according to police.
